Navigate People: Geoff Brown has career experience at the top level in HR management, with a strong track record in successful service delivery. He helps school leaders with strategic planning, whilst providing the hands-on operational support they need to move forward.
Most recently, he has been supporting schools to bring their workforce budgets under control, helping them to manage performance and change to establish sustainable staffing structures. Headteachers have praised his flexible approach to help them manage complex staff changes.
Janet Baker brings years of experience in HR management and development at the top level, with particular expertise in the context of education and children’s services.
Getting alongside senior leadership teams, Janet has helped schools and local authorities to tackle poor motivation and low morale in order to improve outcomes. Recently working with a new executive principal,
Janet helped him to shape the school workforce so that it was fit for purpose. The result was a more effective staff structure which made better use of the school’s finite resources.
