Peter Addison-Child

Director

One of our founding directors, Peter’s experience spans both the public and private sectors at the top levels.

He was one of the youngest Deputy Directors at the NHS Executive and Department of Health during a period of substantial change under both Conservative and Labour administrations. While there, he built an award winning corporate communications function and gained board level experience, developing particular expertise in corporate reputation management in the health service.

Moving to the private sector, Peter joined PricewaterhouseCoopers to widen his experience further and develop his skills as a consultant. He developed expertise in leadership recruitment for the public sector, subsequently taking on Director-level roles with Capita plc and the Tribal Group.

Since founding Navigate with colleagues in 2005 to specialise in education and children’s services, he has developed particular expertise in leadership succession planning, working at national and local level to help organisations develop effective strategies.
