Simon Camby

Client Director

Simon Camby joined Navigate in January 2010 as Client Director.

Simon has a background in school leadership, including two headships. In addition he has worked as a lead Ofsted inspector, senior local authority adviser and consultant.

Simon’s most recent headship was in a school causing concern. Ofsted noted, ‘The determination of the Headteacher and senior leadership team to enhance the pupils’ quality of education is in evidence throughout the school and provides the inspiration from which all staff gain strength’. As a consequence of significant improvement in a short space of time the school was judged as, ‘A good school with outstanding features’.

Simon's responsibility is to build on Navigate’s existing strengths to develop school improvement services for schools and local authorities.
