A new Principal for East Norfolk Sixth Form College
Navigate is pleased to announce that following a nationwide advertising and executive search campaign, Daphne King will be taking over from Laurie Poulson who retires in April 2012 year after 13 years as Principal.
Mrs King, who has worked in education in the borough for more than 30 years, started her career as head of music at Gorleston Grammar School in the late 1970s after training at King’s College in London.
On the announcement of her appointment, Mrs King said “I have every reason to be delighted. The Governors have entrusted me with the responsibility of taking this college forward as the next principal, following a highly successful era under Laurie Poulson’s expertise and leadership. I feel honoured by this appointment. I am totally committed to education and I bring dedication and passion to the job.”
Navigate wishes Daphne every success in her new role.

"We chose to work with Navigate as they presented us with a competitive package and we felt they would "go the extra mile". Throughout the process they were approachable and easy to work with. Their assessment of the candidates prior to shortlisting was very helpful, as was their ability to deliver additional services at short notice when required. Their approach was flexible so we felt able to retain control of the process yet had the benefit of expert advice where necessary."
