Southwark College, a general further education college serving the diverse inner London borough of Southwark and wider South East London, has ambitious plans for the future. With the help and support of Navigate, the college is seeking to appoint a new inspirational Principal who will ensure that the college continues its improvement and fulfils its potential. This represents an outstanding opportunity to develop and shape the college to a successful future.

Currently, the college is being led by an interim Principal and an interim Senior Leadership Team, which has given the college greater stability and has enabled them to develop a strong platform from which to build a successful future.

Navigate is looking for an inspirational Principal for Southwark College, with exceptional skills and experience who will drive the college’s development forward. A key priority is to continue the improvements that the college has begun to make, especially around the area of quality improvement and raising standards. There are high expectations of what can be achieved and we are seeking a Principal who shares the college’s vision for the future. Using strong strategic change management skills, the new Principal will be responsible for working with the Governing Body to shape the direction of future strategy and re-engineer the college’s culture, curriculum and estate.
