Skills Organisations

The skills agenda is key to the UK's future prosperity. Our contribution has been to build the capacity and capability of skills development organisations and to help them engage with employers so that the skills and training being delivered are those that employers actually need.

Our portfolio includes:

• support to National Skills Academies and Sector Skills Councils to help them establish the leadership capacity they need to drive their agenda

• input to Sector Qualification Strategies, for example through development of new qualification frameworks which better meet the needs of employers

• specialist project management in the skills sector to extend capability, for example to build labour market intelligence capability or support development of National Skills Academies
