Whether we’re working on a new, one-off brief, or helping an existing client with a new assignment, there will always be an in-depth Scoping Phase before we begin in earnest. The Scoping Phase will include:

  • Understanding your organisation
  • Understanding your requirements
  • Understanding the challenges and the opportunity
  • Understanding the process for stakeholder/project management and reporting

RECOMMEND

Our people are subject matter experts with many years of expertise in education, recruitment, and complex organisations. Once we understand the brief, we will ensure that we allocate the right expertise to your project, that we work collaboratively and that we bring our own recommendations to the table. The Recommend Phase will include:

  • Sharing our knowledge of your talent landscape
  • Discussions on regulatory issues and current legislation
  • Refining the brief, shaping the solution
  • Setting timescales for delivery

DELIVER

Once the solution is agreed, we deliver. Our teams work in close partnership with each other, and with our clients. We’ll ensure that your solution is effectively integrated, that milestones are met and that stakeholders and hiring managers are engaged and informed throughout the process. During the Deliver Phase, we’ll ensure that candidates really understand the opportunity:

  • Identifying and approaching high-calibre candidates
  • Launching awareness-raising attraction campaigns
  • Preparing effective candidate communications
  • Supporting you at every step through the interview and assessment process

Raymond is a highly experienced recruitment professional, and has worked in senior public sector recruitment for 20 years. He is experienced in all aspects of senior level recruitment from advertising and executive search through to candidate assessment. Raymond has extensive experience in recruiting to roles in education, local authorities, social housing and third sector organisations.

Jo leads client relationships, providing direction, strategy and solutions. With a background in consulting and education, she has significant experience of working with a wide range of schools, local authorities and multi-academy trusts.

David Gooda

David Gooda Director

After an early career in recruitment marketing, David founded NDC (now Navigate NDC) in 2005, focusing on CEO, non-executive and Director-level campaigns. David leads on the recruitment of CEOS and COOS, as well as Headteachers, Principals and system leadership roles.

Retained by BEIS in 2017 to advise on improving the calibre and diversity of its 50+ non-executive boards, David has served as Chair of a range of civic organisations; he was a primary school governor for four years and has recently been appointed as a Trustee to the City Learning Trust (Stoke-on-Trent). He regularly participates in sector briefings and roundtables.

Rachel Singer

Rachel Singer Director

Prior to joining us in 2014, Rachel’s career included working for education trusts and local authorities, developing strategies for school improvement. Before that, she worked as a Headteacher and gained experience of steering several schools through Ofsted categories and into better performance. She is also a trained Ofsted Inspector.

Dilani de Silva

Dilani was variously a TV producer and professional negligence solicitor before joining NDC in May 2014. She also has a background in advertising and marketing, and is responsible for systems and compliance within Navigate NDC.
